GAMLj-Logistic Mixed Effects Regression PSE/Threshold values

hello, I'm trying to calculate the point of subjective equality (PSE)/threshold value (i.e., the x axis value for the p = 0.5) of the logistic mixed effects function fits. to do this, I take the inverse of the logistic regression function p(which should be equated to 0.5) = 1/1+e^-(ß0+ß1X), and isol...

Re: Analyses Issues

"This analysis has terminated, likely due to hitting a resource limit". -- very same issue I'm suffering from. I'm a windows user as well.
it sometimes get fixed by itself when i try to do the analysis in a new jamovi file, but then after a while that new one crashes too, very frustrating.

Re: Chi square column comparison in SPSS

Dear @MAgojam, thank you so much for your support and help. I recently read in IBM's webpage that cells involving more than one subscript depicts a significant difference from all those other cells which are represented by those subscripts. I leave the link below: https://www.ibm.com/support/knowled...

Chi square column comparison in SPSS

Hello there, I ran a 2 x 3 crosstabulation chi square test on spss and compared the column proportions. I know that the different subscripts depict a significant difference proportions among the columns. But in the attached file, I have a column which has both of the subscript letters (I marked wher...

bar plots - descriptives error bars

Hello, I have a very short question: I was wondering whether the error bars we obtain in the bar plots under the descriptives menu were reflecting the standard error of the estimates or 95% CI? I couldnt see any info on this in jamovi. I'm further wondering if we could switch the error bars from wha...

Re: GAMLj and Linear Model inconsistency

nah, I tried to change the scaling of the variables. it didnt work at all, yielded in same results (nothing changed in the coefficients), thus the inconsistency remains.

Re: GAMLj and Linear Model inconsistency

btw, the model that i built using the Linear Regression section is consistent with R.

as a side note: I have interaction term in my model (dont know if saying it helps solving the problem in any way, but just wanted to put it there)
