Re: Excluding outliers with MAD

I could confirm that the result of the proposed formula matches with the MAD result reported in JASP.

Thanks to all the participants.

Re: Analyse an ordinal DV with 3 categories

Thanks for the response, I have read the example and performed a Generalised Linea Model with my own data but I'm not sure to interpreting it correctly. Please, see the attached image. Analyse an ordinal DV with 3 categories

I have a DV which is an ordinal variable with 3 categories (Low, Moderate, High) and 2 IV which are categorical. I.e. Group: CON vs EXP and Time: Pre vs Post. At first, I thought to perform a Wilcoxon rank test to asses the pre-post differences and a Mann-Whitney U to asses the between-group differe...

Re: Excluding outliers with MAD

Thanks for the suggestion @MAgojam, I think it could be useful. I was thinking on calculate robust MAD using JASP and then calculate upper and lower limits for the MAD method for detecting outliers and applying it in JAMOVI

Excluding outliers with MAD

Hi, is there a way to make a filter for the exclusion of outliers using the median absolute deviation (MAD) proposed by Leys et al., 2013 (https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/a ... 3113000668)

i.e. Median ± 2.5 * MAD.

Thanks in advance

I implemented "Latent Profile Analysis" within snowRMM module, which will be available in the jamovi library tommorrow.

With thanks

Lot of thanks for your excellent job. I going to "play" with som datasets in the upcoming days.

Cheers.

Latent profile and latent transitional analyses

Is there any plan to implement latent profile and latent transition analysis in the near future? Thanks in advance
