Re: Deleting old data files
Hi Jonathan - so sorry for my tardy response I've been taking a few days off. Yes that's right, I can't remove anything from recents. But before I get to that, I can't delete any data in the first place. Once it has been imported it stays on my system forever - even if I have made a mistake, or need...
Thank You
I also would like to say what a wonderful system Jamovi is - particularly for those students like me who are learning stats for the first time. You have done a great deal to make stats accessible to all - this is very important outreach work, and that is a truly wonderful thing to have done. Thank y...

Deleting old data files
How do we delete files that are no longer needed? Under Data there is: New, Open, Import, Save, Save As and Export - but no Remove. I don’t want old files I don’t need popping up on ‘Recents’ all the time, it is all too easy to make a mistake by clicking on the wrong one if the titles are similar. E...

Re: Plots - layout issue
Thanks for replying Jonathan, much obliged. For now I will simply shorten the titles for the printouts. I have another question - my last one. For the benefit of the community I will post it separately but here it is now it is about deleting data. How do we delete files that are no longer needed? Th...

Re: The best 2020
I would like to add my thanks too. The Jamovi team have the best response times on any help forum I have ever come across. Not only have they developed superb software, they look after its users with the same professionalism and dedication.

Re: Copying and pasting into word
Jonathan you are a star that is so helpful - I didn’t know that it was possible to ‘clean it up’ - in my case the additional vertical and horizontal lines were appearing on the final printed version, I will try selecting the adjacent cells and merging them. Thanks tons!

Re: Copying and pasting into word
Hi Jonathan I'm not sure if you can see the problem from this shot, you will see the gridlines have doubled and gone a bit fuzzy also there is some misalignment? This only happens in Word for Mac - pdf works perfectly......are there any tips you can offer? Thank you so much - sincerely - Carol

Re: Copying and pasting into word
Jonathan I'm so sorry I've tried everything but the 'upload attachment' system will not allow docx, pdfs or screen shots - is there another way I can get it to you?

Re: Copying and pasting into word
I am trying to work out how to attach a screen shot or word document.
By the way - it copies fine into pdf - the problem is, we are not allowed to submit on that.
