Re: Needed modules

Yes, a fuller SEM would be nice. The ability to examine measurement invariance would be very useful. One more shout out to add Ordinal alpha and Omega as reliability options ;) I get many requests to calculate these from SPSS users. It is easy enough in R, but the average SPSS user won't use R. -shawn

Re: Mixed Models Module

Thanks for this...installing it now. Time to dust off some data and give it a go.

Reliability option: Ordinal Omega/Alpha

I am liking the reliability option, but it would be great if "ordinal" omega and alpha were included in addition to the regular alpha and omega. For Likert type scales, these reliabilities can be largely attenuated when failing to account for the ordinal nature of the data. (adding confide...

CFA Measument/Structural Invariance

I am quite pleased with the Factor options and the CFA. It would be great to see an option for measurement/structural invariance so one can test differences between groups. I currently do this using the semTools package measurementInvariance command, for example.

Re: Reliability analysis

Ravi,

You can use the userfriendlyscience package in R to calculate Likert Omega and Alpha reliability.

I have a description, links, and example here: http://shawnsstats.blogspot.ca/2016/11/ ... omega.html
