Re: What can jamovi do that SPSS cannot?
For me, the most important feature of Jamovi is that you can save the setting of your analysis. Later on, you can modify it to do further analysis. This is something missing in the traditional packages like SPSS. You basically need to setup your analysis again and again, each time you run the softwa...

Feature request: replace variable name in output table
many researchers often do not use full variable name in the dataset. It is probably because the variable name is too long, or statistical software’s do not accept space in variable names. So it will be nice to have a universal function to allow users to replace variable name with labels, which could...

Installation remove the old version?
I'm wondering if the Jamovi installation process could include removal of the old version. This is what most software does. Right now, each time I install a new version, I need to manually uninstall an older version. This is a little bit inconvenient.

Re: Mixed model based on NLME package
Are you also going to add variance/covariance related options? For example, lme allows modelling of heteroscedasticity using weight options and various variance specifications.

Mixed model based on NLME package
I'm wondering if the mixed model module could add support to NLME package. The current module is based on lme4 package (LMER function). The reason that I suggest NLME package (lme function) is that lme includes a number of function that is not available in lmer, for example, you can specify correlat...

Re: Data processing
I guess what you want to do is to transpose the data. I believe Excel could do that. If you want more user-friendly software, you can check a software called easy data transformer.
Jamovi is not very good at data transformation. So probably you should not try to do it in this software.

Jamovi user interfaces suggestion
I don't know if anybody else has the same feeling that I have. While I love Jamovi, sometimes it's difficult to find a particular analysis . For example, it takes me a while to find out that correlation matrix is under the module of regression. I understand that this is because authors of different ...

Re: New feature request- refresh dataset
I cannot find "special import" in jamovi. When I tried to use import, it says "unable to perform import: "multipledatasets" object has no attribute "_settings".
