Re: GAMLj: Very different results after the last update

It did solve, and the results are the same as the versions prior to 2.5.1.

Thanks, Marcello!

Re: GAMLj: Very different results after the last update

Hi Marcello,

I just updated to the new version but now I get this error. Can't run the analysis.

Re: GAMLj: Very different results after the last update

Hi Marcello,

Okay, I'll re-run the analyses with the new version. And thanks for the tip bout cluster-based centered - I did not know that the centering was done by the first cluster variable. I will also check this on the new analyses.

Best,
Tomás

Re: GAMLj: Very different results after the last update

Done.
As I said, same random structure, same fixed factors (simple contrast coding), same covariate (postdiction, cluster based centered), same method to calculate dfs, different results. Weird.

GAMLj: Very different results after the last update

Hi,

I just updated the GAMLj module and after doing so the results of different GLMM analyses I was working on drastically changed. I did not do any changes to the models, just the update. Take a look at the attached files.

Thanks.

Re: GAMLj: LRT for random effects

Thanks for the clarifications, and for the amazing GAMLj module!

Re: mixed models analyses within GAMLj

I have another question, sorry.

In the covariate scaling menu, the "centered" option means centering around the grand mean, and the option "centered clusterwise" means around participant's own mean?

GAMLj: LRT for random effects

Hi, I have two questions: 1. Are you planning on adding LRT for random effects to generalized mixed effect models? 2. Also, will you add Likelihood Ratio Tests (LRTs) for comparing different nested models? In the current GAMKL version, it's not possible to test whether models differ statistically in...

Re: mixed models analyses within GAMLj

Thanks! It's a GLMM prediction recognition performance (yes/no) as a function of target race, target typicality, and confidence (continuously measured and mean-centered), with participants and stimuli as random factors (cluster variables). Here the model info: Model Info Info Value Comment Model Typ...
