Re: mixed labels in spss file

I just installed jamovi 1.6.12 and tried .sav file from the start of this thread (pisa_small_pia5.sav). I noticed that mixup includes also missing values. Somehow labels (and missing values) get mixed more often when missing values are not integers. Maybe it's something with dot/comma as decimal sep...

Re: Jamovi and SPSS

My experience is similar. Students like it more and since they can keep the software indefintely and there are no costs with licences or expiration dates it makes it even better. My students actually get licences for SPSS from university and I spend few lessons on showing them how to do things in SP...

Re: Feature request: sample size in Correlation matrix?

Maybe I don't understand, but this is a regular option:
It's in my jamovi 1.6.8 version

Or am I missing something? Don't hesitate to explain further.

Re: How do I interpret the interaction effect in a two way A

In theory you can come up with an example where interaction could be assessed and main effects not, but it's very unlikely and there's a ton of other options you should check for before you go down that road. If your main effects turn out non-significant but interaction does, then check for any sign...

Re: mixed labels in spss file

Hey! Great improvement - first 410 variables have correct labels. But then it starts: 411 variable (AGE) has empty label (should be 'Age of Student') 412 is correct (GRADE) 413 is correct (progn) 414 (ANXMAT) has label from AGE ('Age of Student') 415 (ATSCHL) has label from 414 416 same (shifted for...

I agree, it would be a nice function to have and would encourage use of jamovi in introduction statistics courses...

Re: Reliability Analysis

Can you elaborate on that? If you exclude item without variance, do the problems persist? Items without variance (in other words constants), usually end up in an error as they don't discriminate between subjects and can't be used in creation of scales, measures, etc. Just eliminate them from analysi...

Re: mixed labels in spss file

If I go from start:
1. variable - CNT label=empty
2. variable - SUBNATIO label=label from CNT (Country code 3 character)
..
4. variable - OECD label= correct!

Some of variables have correct labels, others are shifted (usually for one field).

mixed labels in spss file

I use jamovi a lot to import spss files and it works like a charm every time. It's really great and that's why I was surprised to see that it created a mismatch between labels and their variables. It's not a complete mismatch - some variables get labels right and others don't and I couldn't figure t...

Re: Standard error of the estimate vs RMSE?

This will be a nice feature - you keep telling students that their predictions are not without error but if they can't calculate it, you can't test if they really understand it.

Thank you in advance.
