Re: ANOVA - Binary / dichotomous dependent variable
If I were to make it a tad more complicated.. I'm sorry to get back to you @MAgojam. So, there are three conditions with three levels where participants can give a dichotomous reply. So, for condition 1, control (level 1), treatment 1 (level 2) and treatment 2 (level 3) will be able to give a yes or...

ANOVA - Binary / dichotomous dependent variable
Hi, thanks for your great work on Jamovi. How would I go about comparing a control with two treatment conditions, where the dependent variable is dichotomous, i.e. yes or no. I would like to compare the frequencies of yes and nos for the three different conditions. Would it work to use ANOVA? Thanks...

Hey, I’ve sent you a private message. Unclear if it has gone through.
In any case, many thanks for your help.

Re: EffectSize(rbc) calculation and interpretation -Mann-Whi
I am sorry for bothering you ones again. If I understand your beautiful code correctly, cliffs delta is also the rank biserial correlation. Is that correct? When doing the calculations, I get it correct as you have described it for the Mann Whitney U test, however, when doing it for Wilcox, I am not...

Re: EffectSize(rbc) calculation and interpretation -Mann-Whi
Hey, Thanks for all the help @MAgojam Does the Wilcoxon test in Jamovi use the same formula to output the rank biserial correlation? Would anyone be in position to clarify how to interpret the output value. How good or bad is a value of .5? Also, if I want to compare a range of values that are eithe...

Re: One sample sign test
Hey, Many thanks for the help. I'm a beginner in the field and your help is much appreciated. Yes, you answered my question. I took a look at the effsize package and the Rj module. I could not get it to work. Most likely I am doing something wrong. I have done a binomial test for my items. Perhaps s...

Re: One sample sign test
Much appreciated.. Awesome, many thanks for the help.. In the article they also refer to an effect size that Varga and Delaney (2000)* has proposed. δ-index for stochastic difference. You wouldn't happen to know if there is a shortcut to calculate that? If not in Jamovi, perhaps somewhere else? Once...
