Re: PCA repeated measures
Hi, No matter what I do in MEDA, I also get the message "non convenient data", and this thread is the only place that Google knows about where the error message was reported. I'm using Jamovi 2.3.17.0 and MEDA 1.0.0 on Ubuntu 22.04. I've tried everything I could, different files, different...

Feature request: decimal log in logistic regression
Hi, I would like to argue that it would be a great feature to be able to tick a box to turn the Estimates in logistic regression into decimal log mode rather than natural log. The point is that when teaching to students in Psychology, Human Sciences or any other "applied only" field, you c...

Re: Accidentally editing data
I see this happening to students a lot as well, where the only option I can give them is to start over.
The only case where I can see the use of modifying the data is when forging data that meet specific requirements for an exercise, which for most people does not happen so often.

Re: eta squared in ANCOVA versus Gamlj
Hi again, Digging in old conversations I was able to find this explanation once given by Marcello on another topic: Eta-squared has been defined by Pearson as eta_squared=SS_model/(SS_model+SS_error) (see Cohen, 1973). Other authors have simplified the formula as eta_squared=SS_effects/(SS_effects+S...

Re: eta squared in ANCOVA versus Gamlj
Hi Maurizio, Thank you for your answer and for this reference! However, unless I've missed something, it only makes a case for the choice made in GAMLj, which is already the version I prefer. What I don't understand is why or when people would use the other version, present in the ANCOVA module. All...

Re: Name of dimensions
Apart from renaming them, I don't think that you can scale the plots in jamovi like you can in JASP for instance.

eta squared in ANCOVA versus Gamlj
[Update : this should probably be a question filed in the jamovi modules section, since this is a question about the reason for the choices made in developing jamovi (which invariably arise when you teach) rather than a statistics question] Hi, I am curious about a difference that can be found betw...

Re: Bug in Gamlj multinomial regression
Hi,
Thanks for your answer.
For firewall-related reasons I can only sideload packages, and it seems that the linux version of Gamlj available from the library online is still 2.6.3.
All the best,
Arnaud

Re: Bug in Gamlj multinomial regression
Hi,
Sorry I don't understand, is this a post-it note for yourself or again some kind of bug?
Thanks!
