Re: adjusted residuals?

Hi Mauricio, Thanks again, that was extremely helpful. One thing I'm having trouble with is comparing two groups where one variable is held the same. For example in the sample dataset, can I compare (assault-assault) x (2016-1997) x (midwest-east) using log-linear in jamovi? I tried doing this using...

Re: adjusted residuals?

Hi Maurizio,

Is there a way to perform these analyses in jamovi without having the data already formatted with counts? Perhaps using Rj to create a count table and then performing the subsequent poisson?

Thanks!

Re: adjusted residuals?

Hi Mauricio, I had decided against log-linear model because I wanted to compare between two groups where one of the variables was held constant. For example regarding the data I attached, compare accident in the four different regions across the different timepoints. So I can make the conclusion tha...

Re: adjusted residuals?

Hi Maurizio, Please find the omv file attached. data sample.omv Essentially, what I created was a contingency table where: rows = year_grouped columns = circumstance layers = region to compare the proportions of circumstances within different regions over time. in such contingency table, the chi squ...

Re: adjusted residuals?

Hi Maurizio, sorry for the delay, this was very helpful thank you so much! As a follow up question, I was wondering if it were possible to use Rj to perform similar analyses (adjusted standardized residuals and corrected p values) once I add in layers into the contingency table. For these analyses I...

Re: adjusted residuals?

Hi, Simona. At the moment jamovi, does not yet satisfy your request, but surely he will do it in the near future. Request #494 "Adjusted Residuals in chi-square tests" is still open, see When I need it, I use a little R code with the excellent Rj module. Look at the screenshot I enclose, ...
