There is not currently a way to disable the alt action. I'll look into solving this problem and get back to you.

Hi, we have been troubleshooting this issue and have come to the conclusion that it is a chrome redraw issue. A temporary solution is to simply maximize/minimize the browser window and this will force a redraw. I will come up with a better solution in the meantime.

Thanks for the reply. Is it possible to try and re-enable your touchpad, restart your computer and try jamovi again? Maybe also try with and without the wireless mouse and the touchpad enabled. I appreciate that this is not a solution however will give me insights into what is causing this behavior....

What device are you using? The circles appear when you are using a touch screen device. However if there is a mouse available the normal behavior is default.

If you could try the following - open the start menu and search for jamovi - click on the menu item called 'jamovi X.XX.X Debug' (the X.XX.X is whatever version you have installed) - this will open a command prompt - type in the following command: jamovi --py-debug --debug ...
