Thanks Jonathon. I wasn't sure of its functionality--the description made it sound like something core but I can see I can just ignore. I found that it worked without it so I was hopeful I hadn't broken it.

Using 2.6.45, I can plot scatterplots that provide the option to have density plots on the axes (opposite the proper/main XY axes), or box plots. Upgrading to 2.7.12, this seems to be gone. It seems that the syntax mode toggle does not stick between sessions. I would like this to always be on and not have to set it every time I go into Jamovi. Could it become a permanent setting? I'm a bit puzzled why it would default to always be off.
