Re: Bug in Phi-Coefficient calculation or my mistake?
Hello Maurizio, thanks for that... I am very rusty when it comes to GitHub, and I got to get familiar with it again... So far, I have spent I dont know how many hundreds hours working on the module, because I would like it to be ready by early next year 2026 as I want to have my students using it. A...

Re: CChiSquaredTools module now on GitHub
Could you please confirm your exact jamovi version? You can find this by opening jamovi and looking at the version number displayed on the welcome screen, or via the About menu.
My module was built against jamovi 2.6.45, so if you are running jamovi 2.7.x, that would explain the incompatibility.

Re: CChiSquaredTools module now on GitHub
Hello, maybe this can help understand the issue. I am copying/pasting from the ReadMe document on GitHub: Pre-built module (macOS only): Download the .jmo file from the Releases page In jamovi, go to Modules → jamovi library → Sideload (⋮ menu) Select the downloaded .jmo file ⚠️ Note: The pre-built ...

Re: Bug in Phi-Coefficient calculation or my mistake?
Just to add a related point that may be useful for anyone following this thread: Beyond the sign issue, it is worth being aware that the Phi coefficient (and many other chi-squared-based association measures) has an upper bound that depends on the table's marginal distributions. In other words, Phi ...

Re: "INSTALLED VERSION NEEDS TO BE UPDATED" on first install
Thank you — that makes sense for sideloading during testing. I have a couple of practical questions about the submission process: When I submit to the jamovi repository, should I send the built .jmo file, or the source folder? Does the jamovi build system compile the module for all supported platfor...

"INSTALLED VERSION NEEDS TO BE UPDATED" on first install
Hello everyone, I am preparing to submit my first module to the jamovi library and have encountered a puzzling issue that I cannot reproduce on my own machine. A colleague attempted to sideload the module (ChiSquaredTools, version 1.0.0) for the first time. Upon sideloading, jamovi displayed the mes...
