Re: Exclude cases pairwise in linear regression

I can se that Jamovi by deafault uses listwise exclusion in linear regressions. Is it possible to change that to pairwise exclusion and how do I do that? Hey @Abbot, jamovi uses listwise deletion in linear regression, pairwise deletion is not yet supported. This is due to the fact that under the ho...

Re: Major/ meta-analysis

Hey @gwennanleah,
two quick responses.

1. The function can perform (various versions of) Egger's regression test for funnel plot asymmetry.

2. Not at the moment, but it's on the list.

Cheers,
Maurizio.

Re: query about "need infinite 'xlim' values"

Hi @Chelsey, Your screenshot appears to say that you are passing Standardized Difference values ( Cohen's d ) instead of the Correlation Coefficient ( r ) as required. You can convert d to r as in the formula in the screenshot attached and as you can see the use of the Correlation coefficient (r) do...

Hey Carmen,
you'd need to provide a .omv file before we could comment (you may need to zip it up first).

Re: Differences in Shapiro-Wilk P.value with ANOVA

I have the same problem, I have obtained different shapiro-wilk pvalues in anova one-way and with respect anova ... Hey Carmen, a simple response on the fly. The small differences you saw are due to the residuals passed through the shapiro-wilk test. In anova one-way they are standardized residuals...

Re: ROC Curve P value

So can it be said that the AUC tells us about a difference between 2 distributions, and the p value tells us how certain we are that this difference is not due to chance (regardless of its size) ? We could also say so, but for the AUC I would prefer to keep the term of separation rather than differ...

Re: ROC Curve P value

Which brings me to a theoretical question, if on the real data the logistic regression is non significant (p>0.05), and the Mann Whitney is significant (or the other way around), can that ever happen ? In which case, if the AUC is, say, 0.61, do we say the lab test can or cannot discriminate betwee...

Re: ROC Curve P value

So...where can I get the required p value ? If there is special R code please tell me exactly what to write, and where to get a required special module if any. Hey Beatrice, I see you're waiting. It should come as no surprise that AUC can connect directly with the Mann-Whitney U statistic , which i...

Hey @statsdontlie,
would you like to take a look at the screenshot, i put a suggestion that might be what you are looking for to compute your new variable.

Re: addition using transform

Hey @merced,
are you sure you don't have your value to be added in single quotes?
In the screenshot it works.
