Re: MAJOR "Fisher scoring algorithm did not converge"

Hey @Cynthias, if there are no problems sharing the file where the error occurs, I can take a look at it, because your reference to the previous post seems to work with the jamovi solid v2.3.8 and the MAJOR module in the library (v1. 2.4), as in the attached screenshot. Re: urgent - variables likert to ordinal

Hey @ilovestatistics, like Jonathon, I'm also a little perplexed about the presence of numbers between double apostrophes. Have you perhaps replaced the text data of the levels with the numbers "1" to "5", instead of 1 to 5? Make sure that these numerical levels are not between d...

Re: Recoding variables - everything becomes 'else use'

Hey @alex99,
what happens to you is due to the fact that the variable you want to recode is a Data type Text, but you are using it as if it were a Data type Integer.

The recoding conditions will be:

Re: Did Jamovi invent a test that doesn't exist: Durbin-Conover --> is this a fake test? Does it really exist?

Hey @abhtony, Maybe I can help you by starting from here: As you can see we are on the jmv source line (anovarmnp.b.R) where there is the call to the PMCMR:: posthoc.durbin.test() function, which is deprecated , because it was replaced with PMCMRplus:: frdAllPairsConoverTest() . take a look here too...

Re: Tutorial for boxcox transformation

Hey @hpolmann, Is it possible for you to attach the file to take a look at it so you can understand what's going on Here you can see the sources of jamovi's BOXCOX function (Python code): https://github.com/jamovi/jamovi/blob/current-dev/server/jamovi/server/compute/functions.py#L295-L312 I am attac...

Re: Tutorial for boxcox transformation

Hey @hpolmann, you are probably using an outdated version of jamovi. Here you will find a bug report (probably what is happening to you) related to the use of BOXCOX(): https://forum.jamovi.org/viewtopic.php?p=7907#p7907 The bug was fixed about a month ago. In the screenshot I attach you can see tha...

Re: Group Variable in Psycho PDA ROC test analysis

Despite our efforts, we have been unable to resolve this issue on our own. Given the impending workshop, we urgently need your expertise to help us overcome this challenge. Hey @arshishad, I'm not the Author of the pshychoPDA module and Lucas Friesen hasn't seen it in a while around here, but I jus...

Re: Exclude cases pairwise in linear regression

I can se that Jamovi by deafault uses listwise exclusion in linear regressions. Is it possible to change that to pairwise exclusion and how do I do that? Hey @Abbot, jamovi uses listwise deletion in linear regression, pairwise deletion is not yet supported. This is due to the fact that under the ho...
