Re: Selecting reference level for a transformed variable

Hi That depends on what transformation you use and whether your transformed variable is a dependent variable or an independent variable. If you are doing a recode, in the same way you change the order of the levels for non-transformed variable, you can change the order of the recode conditions (&quo...

Re: misscalculation of predicted factor scores in SEM

if you are in SEMLj 1.1.7 and it does not work, I'd ask to share an example so I can work it out, because in my system works fine. If you prefer, you can send a .omv file via email

Re: misscalculation of predicted factor scores in SEM

HI yes, it was a bug. It has been fixed in the new version 1.1.7, which is coming out. You'll see now that cases with some missing in the observed variables will have all predicted values missing if you select "missing listwise", whereas the cases will have missing only in the predicted va...

Re: Urgent - I cannot find the values of sandardized coefficient in Mixed model

There is no consensus on how to standardize coefficients in mixed model, as indicated by the fact that no other software produce them. We are waiting for the literature (a solid literature) to reach some consensus on this topic.

Re: Contrasts - Repeated - Contrast coefficient table

Hi I do confirm that the repeated contrast does compare 1-2, 2-3, 3-4 and so on. That is why you get the same estimates across different software. The difference between GAMLj in jamovi and other software is that in GAMLj the repeated contrasts are defined not only to compare the subsequent means as...

Re: P value of the mixed model

Hi not in the current version. However, version 3 is in preview here (https://github.com/gamlj/gamlj#version-3) and does the overall model test. You just download the package from the links there and then sideload into jamovi (see instructions in the linked page). You need to re-run the models, beca...

Re: GAMLj Feature Request: Simple Interaction Effects

The new update of gamlj, version 3, allows for simple interactions of any order. However, it is not yet in the jamovi library, but you can download and sideload in jamovi with very simple steps: check it out here https://github.com/gamlj/gamlj#version-3 Please give feedback so we can move it to the ...
