Re: What's the chance I can get ChatGPT to turn my R function into a jamovi module?
It has not worked. The best chatGPT has done is to simply return pieces of your tutorial.

I wonder, what's the chance I can get ChatGPT to turn my R function into a jamovi module?

Re: Alternative to Mann-Whitney U-test for very small samples sizes?
Would the requirement for "some kind of statistical analysis" be satisfied by sample-descriptive rather than population-inferential statistics? For example: "The median rank was 4.0 for Group A and 2.0 for Group B. The effect size, calculated as the rank biserial correlation (rank vs....

Re: Alternative to Mann-Whitney U-test for very small samples sizes?
So you have only three subjects in each of two groups, with ranks being constrained to 1-through-6? I think that since you're starting with ranks rather than interval/ordinal data, the U test is already sufficiently powerful. I'm afraid that three rank-scores per group just isn't enough for drawing ...

Re: Sphericity violation in RM Anova
OK. But the 'homogenous variance' assumption doesn't apply to repeated-measures factors (it only applies to between-subject factors). And even if you had a between-subject design rather than a repeated-measures design, it would make no sense to ask whether there is a significant difference between t...

Re: Sphericity violation in RM Anova
Hi. It is not possible to calculate sphericity separately for each of the levels of your four-level repeated-measures ANOVA. Sphericity is a characteristic of the entire model, not of any particular level of the repeated-measures factor. Also, Welch's ANOVA is for between-subjects factors only. it c...

Re: Kolmogorov-Smirnov for a repeated measures ANOVA
Hi. The description accompanying the moretests module includes a list of analyses that will yield more tests. Repeated-measures ANOVA isn't in that list. So perhaps the person who claimed to use moretests with repeated-measures ANOVA was mistaken.

Re: Non-conformable arguments
Hi. You have a very large number of missing cells in the ANOVA design . Even leaving-out social media use, you would need to have at least two people in each of the 12 cells indicated below. However, your Non-Binary Freshman cell is missing (there are zero people in that cell), your Non-Binary Sopho...

Note that in this example, the spreadsheet's "ii, ii, ii" data are missing.

Re: Non-conformable arguments
First of all, the sums of squares type should normally be Type III (the default) instead of Type I. But more importantly, to run an ANOVA, you cannot have missing cells in your "Gender" by "College Classification" by "Media Use" design. Apparently you are missing some c...
