Ergonomics suggestions

Post by RHainez »

Hi,

To make jamovi a little bit more user-friendly, do you think it would be possible to:

- allow the user to rearrange the output window by dragging up or down each analysis?

- allow to load the complete tidyverse package via library(tidyverse) in Rj module? I can not speak for others, but it covers many of my needs

- allow the user to set a profile where one can choose the ticked boxes. For example in Descriptives, when the profile is loaded, it would spare the same clics to untick "minimum" and "maximum" and tick "variance". It would make a smoother experience.

If other contributors have different ideas, they are very welcome.

Have a nice day.

yup, these are good suggestions.

wrt tidyverse, i think that's quite a large set of packages we'd need to ship, increasing the application size substantially. so we'd probably push you towards system R for that.

Ok, I did not know that the tidyverse package is so big.

Other suggestions :

- the module list is not alphabetically ordered. Is it possible to get it sorted?

- on PC, is there any news about the auto-update feature for jamovi? And for the modules ?

sorry ... we're really flat-out at the moment.

(although i did add the tidyverse to the most recent version of Rj under version 2.3)
