Can we split by group in independent sample t-test on JAMOVI?
On descriptives we can "split by"' but I dont see it in independent sample t-test.

hi,

in a paired samples t-test, there's only one group, by definition.

the two measurements are on the same group of people/subjects/cases

does that make sense?

cheers

Hi Meir,
Do you mean you have 2 (or more groups) and you want to do paired t-tests for each of these separately? If so, yes you can do this if you apply a filter to start with, and use this to select a different group of participants that you can then analyse with the paired t-test.

You can also use jjstatsplot module to split data and generate two tests together.
