Shapiro-Wilk normality test comes up empty

Hello,

I'm using Jamovi 1.6.18.0 on a Mac (OSX 11.2.3).

I would like my students to be able to run a normality test after a regression. The regression runs fine. But for some reason in Jamovi I get 'Nan' for the statistic. See attached.

Any thoughts about what might be happening here?

this is possibly a limitation of shapiro-wilk. from memory it can't handle very small, or very large data sets.
