Running an analysis on filtered data

Post by tkemeny »

Hello

I would like to run a linear regression on a subset of my data that I have filtered, in this case only on working age individuals.

See attached filter. But now what? When I go to linear regression, I do not see a way of telling Jamovi only to regress on the filtered subset.

Am I missing something? I read here (https://blog.jamovi.org/2018/04/25/jamovi-filters.html) but this did not seem to help.

Thanks
Tom

Hi, @tkemeny.

If I haven't missed something, it's not yet possible to match a specific analysis to a specific subset of data at the moment.
When you activate one or more filters, the resulting subset of data is used by all the new analyzes you produce, while those already present will not remain as they are, but will automatically update only on the cases of the new subset.
I think what you want will be available in the "near future", as this is a request already made by others.

Cheers,
Maurizio
