Mardia's coefficient

Post by Cmk »

I'm running an EFA and in order to figure out if I should use PAF or ML, I'd like to use Mardia's estimates to assess multivariate skewness and kurtosis. Is this feature available? I can't seem to find it

Hey @Cmk,
in jamovi library, you have a fantastic module, the "semlj - SEM 0.9.0" by Gallucci M. and Jentschke S. where you can find the Mardia's coefficients (look in Output options).
If you want to take a look at the attached screnshot, there is a function you can write in Rj to calculate them in a more crude way.
