Hello,
I am running some very complex 5-way factor Linear Mixed Models using GAMLj. I have managed to create a computer cluster. I wonder if it would be possible to “parallelize” Jamovi to run in a cluster in Parallel?
I probably don’t know what I am talking about.
Thanks for any possible information that you can provide,
Best wishes,
Roberto
Parallelization in Jamovi
Re: Parallelization in Jamovi
hi roberto,
jamovi supports parallelization *between* analyses (i.e. multiple running concurrently), but at present the options for parallelization *within* an analysis is limited.
the issue is that we use R libraries to perform our stats calculations, and most of these don't support parallel processing.
we're kinda at the mercy of what the lower level stats library people produce.
cheers
