I have tried all palette, but none was friendly to monochrome printing, though the SPSS style turned out to be the best. Surprisingly, the grey palette could not properly display the confidence interval because the shadow was too light.
Regarding this matter, I think Microsoft Office provides a good example.

perhaps you could provide some screenshots of where things are too light in jamovi, and what a good alternative in MS Office is.

it looks to me like our greys are darker than the greys in ms office. i.e.
are you sure our greys theme isn't suitable for printing?
