Mann Whitney U - Mean Rank Values

Post by clintfuhs »

I have selected the Mann Whitney U test from the independent samples t-test analysis. Is there any way to get the mean rank values for groups. needs these for reporting purposes.

Thanks,
Clint

SPSS produces them in population pyramid chart. They are useful for reporting.http://statistics.laerd.com/premium/sps ... n-rank.png, I am not sure how they are calculated. Thanks.

I think you need to add up the ranking values for each level and divide the sum by the number of cases in that level. So, you'll get two figures which I think would be correct.
