Your Help is Appreciated

Post by msxaa105 »

Hi jamovi helpers,

Thanks for developing this great platform.

I'm analyzing a massive set of data via jamovi and encountering some difficulties:

1- I wonder how can I add the age/sex as covariates when using an independent student T-test for two groups?

2- As the dataset is huge, I am trying to add family-wise error corrections, but I cannot find a tutorial on how to do so.

3-I've calculated the mean of one variable, and jamovi has converted the original values to scientific notations, which cannot be analyzed by jamovi. Any advice on how to leave the values and their mean as decimals?

4-Can some additional plots and graphs added to jamovi? E.g., box plots datasets analyzed using independent student T-test?

Thank you,
Majeed

hi,

1. you can't include covariates in a t-test ... perhaps you want to perform an ANCOVA?
2. by family-wise corrections, do you mean things like tukey hsd, etc. in which case you'll find these in the post-hoc tests
3. i'm not sure what you mean ... perhaps you could share a screenshot
4. you'll find boxplots under descriptives.

cheers
