Is Jamovi's Fisher test limited to only 2x2 table?

Post by cadudesun »

Hi. I'd appreciate your help.

Does Jamovi support Fisher test only in contingency tables of 2x2?
Or 3x3 tables (or greater) can be computed?

Thank you,

i can't remember off the top of my head -- but the way i would find out would be to open jamovi and try it out.

Thanks for your reply jonathon.

I performed the statistics analysis of a contingency table, and a doubt has remained.
As shown in the screenshot above, by chance do you know whether the p-value refers to "Comparative Measures" (2x2 only), or is it taking into account the 3x3 table above?

the "2x2 only", refers to the items directly beneath it (odds ratio, log odds ratio, relative risk, difference in proportions)

everything else can deal with arbitrarily sizes tables, so your fisher's exact test is using the complete 3x3 table.
