Hi all. I have a data set, shortdataset.csv
https://drive.google.com/file/d/11WIET3 ... sp=sharing
one of the variables is population. This is country population, so there are a lot of very large numbers. When i run exploration / descriptives / mean for population (variable) split by arearegion, the outcome table is all scientific notation,
Africa 2.50E+07
Australia - Oceania 1.56E+06
Central America 2.84E+06
Central Asia 3.55E+07
East Asia/Southeast Asia 1.16E+08
Europe 1.26E+07
Middle East 1.91E+07
North America 8.39E+07
South America 3.31E+07
South Asia 2.29E+08
I'd like to see the outcome as numbers.
If i copy the results to a spreadsheet and format as numbers, then i get a table with lots of zeros, instead of the actual numbers.
population mean
Africa 25,000,000
Australia - Oceania 1,560,000
Central America 2,840,000
Central Asia 35,500,000
East Asia/Southeast Asia 116,000,000
Europe 12,600,000
Middle East 19,100,000
North America 83,900,000
South America 33,100,000
South Asia 229,000,000
is it possible to get a table with actual numbers, not rounded?
Thanks

Re: means of large numbers have lots of zeros
Hey @geneshackman,
select the 'kebab' menu (three vertical dots) at the top right and in Results->Number format switch from significant figures to decimal places (e.g. from your 3 sf to 2 dp).
Cheers,
Maurizio
