Hey Guys,
I want to split data in an ordinal variable.
The variable contains two different levels - either the participant did receive or didnt receive guidance.
I need to analyse these separately to examine if the guidance impacted them.
I cant for the life of me figure out how to separate the two.
Any help you would greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Splitting data in Ordinal Variable
Re: Splitting data in Ordinal Variable
Hi, @BrookeR.
From Data-> Filters you can activate a filter for your variable to be split with an equality to the level of interest.
[E.g .: name of the variable to be divided (Receive_guidance) level No or Yes].
In Filter 1 enter Receive_guidance == "Yes".
As long as you do not inactivate or delete Filter 1, all your statistical analyzes you will do on the data will be done excluding the cases corresponding to No in Receive_guidance.

If it doesn't match what you were looking for, come back here.
