SNOW IRT PROBLEM- ""from" must be a finite number"

Post by upisabella »

Hello!

I have been trying to use SNOWIRT to make some IRT models with my data since I have too many cases and I cannot use IRTPRO which is what I would normally use.

When I use my data, I get this message
" from" must be a finite number"
. It doesn't matter which of my items I use.

I already tried deleting the subjects with missing values, changing the measure and data type of all the variables, and I still get the message. I don't know what could be happening since a friend of mine has used Jamovi with large data before and hasn't had any problems.

I have approximately 3984 cases when I don't delete the cases with missing values, and 2091 when I delete the cases with missing values. I also tried to significantly reduce my sample but that didn't resolve the problem.

I bet is something with my data but I can think what It could be.

Any ideas?

Could you send me an .omv file including data at snow@cau.ac.kr?

I have the same problem. Was the problem solved? If yes, how?

Hello, I have the same problem. Is there any requirements (for example: minimum percentage of valid data, or minimum number of sample) for snowIRT to run properly?

Best regards,
Dyah

Hi

your data type should be specified as "continuous" not "nominal" type.

These are the examples that have been attached in the snowIRT module

Any problems? Please let me know.
