Hi,
I'm a student and use Jamovi for one of my statistics modules. Despite working fine the since installation, today I have encountered an error with Jamovi. I cannot get the software to open at all, even after uninstalling and reinstalling. I have also contacted my university's IT department who could not fix the issue, even after taking remote control of my laptop. It is on their recommendation that I post to this forum. Is this a known issue, and if so, how do I go about fixing this?

If your error message appears "unable to open" in WIN10, you have to format your computer and reinstall jamovi. It'll fix it.

it's hard to know what has happened to your computer. i'd suggest using the cloud version as a work around:
