Hello,
I'm new to Jamovi and hence not ready to report the following as a bug; perhaps someone can let me know what I'm doing wrong.
I'm running the latest version of Jamovi on MacOS 10.13.3.
* I downloaded the scatr module and then sideloaded it from within Jamovi. I was informed that the installation was successful, and I find it under the Exploratory tab and it produces some kickin' scatterplots.. No problems here.
* I created my own small module (similar to Super Awesome in the developers' tutorial) and installed it. It seems to work well. Again, no problems here.
* I downloaded the Base R module and side-loaded it. I was informed that installation was successful. Indeed, an icon for Base R appears. But when I've got data opened and I click on any of the Base R routines I don't get the expected dialog window on the left. Also, the background of Results window turns from white to gray. The same thing happens if I install Base R from the command line in R Studio, as per the directions here: https://dev.jamovi.org/tuts0101-getting-started.html .
Is there something extra I have to do to get the Base R module working?
Thanks,
Homer
Base R Installation and/or Use Problem
Re: Base R Installation and/or Use Problem
hey,
yes, i'm embarrassed to say we broke this in the 0.8.2 release
i've issued a fix, and you can update to 1.1.2 of the base R module and/or update to 0.8.2.2 of jamovi and you'll be sweet.
thanks for reporting
