I have installed jamovi 0.8.6.1 on ubuntu 17.10 using the repository. I then install the gamlj module. However, when I enter the variables in the correct boxes to conduct an analysis it says:
unable to load shared object '/home/main/.jamovi/modules/gamlj/R/nloptr/libs/nloptr.so': libnlopt.so.0: cannot open shared object file: no such file or directory
The file nloprt.so definitely exists at that path.
I've tried the same on three ubuntu 17.10 machines and the same error occurs. I can conduct the analysis fine using the same variables and data file on a Windows machine.
Any clues to fix it would be much appreciated.

Re: Jamovi + gamlj problem on ubuntu
It is. Through the menus. '+ Modules' -> 'Available' etc
Re: Jamovi + gamlj problem on ubuntu
OK, try uninstalling and reinstalling gamlj, i think it should be fixed now.
thanks for reporting.

Still doing exactly the same unfortunately. As well as uninstalling and reinstalling the gamlj module, I also tried apt purge'ing jamovi and removing the .jamovi directory before reinstalling everything and the same results occur.
Re: Jamovi + gamlj problem on ubuntu
whoops, my bad. try again. should be fixed now.
sorry for stuffing you around.

Stuffing me around? You fixed the software on a Sunday morning!
It works perfectly by the way so thanks for that - very much appreciated.
