Factors coding in post hoc tests doesn't work

Post by DrE »

I'm doing a mixed model and trying to get deviation factors coding for a post hoc test. Regardless of what kind of Factors Coding I choose, the output is the same. When set to dummy coding the post hoc test compares each value of the variable to all of the other variables. When set to deviation, it should compare each value to the mean of all values, but instead it continues to compare each value to every other value. I have tried dummy, simple, difference, Helmert, and they all give the same results. It looks like changing the value in Factors Coding changes nothing.

hi,

could you clarify what analysis it is you're running? is this with the GAMLj module?

attaching a .omv file of the error would probably be helpful too.

cheers
