Have searched the thread history but have not found any answers to these questions. Does Jamovi have the capability to work with weighted data? I can easily create weights by simply computing the new columns, but cannot figure out if its possible to perform analysis using the weights.
Additionally, I am looking to see if Jamovi can easily produce weighted crosstabs as one might do in SPSS.
If these features are currently not available, does anyone know if they might be part of a roadmap? Like many Jamovi users, I am trying to see if I can do in Jamovi what I usually do in SPSS. Thank you!
Survey Weights and Weighted Cross-tabs
Re: Survey Weights and Weighted Cross-tabs
Hi RandomGuy,
No, at the moment the standard analyses don't let you use weighted data. So we're trying to keep analyses as simple as possible, while still being complete. I know that SPSS lets you use weighted data, and I've been thinking about adding it to jamovi but I thought that it's not used that often. If you think it's an essential feature, could you make a case for it on our github page: https://github.com/jamovi/jamovi/issues.
Cheers,
Ravi
