[SOLVED] Can't import from csv because "file is not a zip f

Trying to import data from csv I always end up getting the error message saying the file can't be opened because it is not a zip. file.

Tried to generate the csv from xls in sevral ways, also usinf openoffice - but did not succeed yet.

does the CSV file have the extension .csv? you could attach it here.

my guess is that your .csv files have a capitalized extention, i.e. filename.CSV

i've committed a fix now, so if that is the issue, the next release of jamovi (possibly in the next 24 hours) will fix this.

in the mean time, you can save your files with the lowercase .csv extension

this isn't the sort of issue we would have thought of! so thanks for brining it to our attention.
