GLM Mediation Model: Arguments Imply Differing Number of Rows

Post by marinan »

Hello, I am a beginner with no experience in R. I am attempting to do moderated medation in Jamovi (Desktop 2.4.1) as it allows 2+ moderators. In short, I have no experience with the programme and with coding in general.

When I add nominal (integer) variables in my model as factors/control variables, I get the error 'Arguments Imply Differing Number of Rows'. I read the two topics on the issue and didn't find an immediate answer. Other forums take a deep dive into R code which I find difficult to decipher.

What I managed to deduce is that I only get the error for factors with missing values (these have been coded as -99 in SPSS). The only nominal variable that doesn't get me the error is fully observed.

What does this error mean exactly and how do I fix it? Thank you!
