How to name the fixed effects in a linear mixed model ?

Post by Lorina »

Hi,

I tested these fixed effects (Table 1), however I cannot find the names in the second table. They are only associations of X corresponding to the factor (cdt) and to the covariates (block and sopa) and Y for the dependent variable corresponding to reaction times measured over several blocks (3 to 8), blocks 1, 2 , 9, 10, 11 being excluded from this analysis. Being interested in the effect of the interactions between the factor and the covariates, without names, I cannot know what to associate the Estimates of the fixed factors with.

If you want "block" and "sopa" to be coviariates, you should set them as continuous variables. If you do that, the output will be ok. If you want to consider them factor (categorical variable), put them in "Factors"
