Group Variable in Psycho PDA ROC test analysis

Post by arshishad »

Dear
I am writing to seek urgent assistance with a technical issue we are encountering in the PsychoPPDA Module, specifically while using the TestROC function. We are in the final stages of preparing for an online ROC workshop scheduled for the end of this month, and resolving this issue is critical to the success of the workshop.

The problem we are facing is that the TestROC function works perfectly for all options except one—when attempting to shift a variable to a group variable. At this point, we receive the following error message:

Despite our efforts, we have been unable to resolve this issue on our own. Given the impending workshop, we urgently need your expertise to help us overcome this challenge.

Hey @arshishad,
I'm not the Author of the pshychoPDA module and Lucas Friesen hasn't seen it in a while around here, but I just took a look at the module's source code to help.
So I have some suggestions that could work while waiting for a possible update with an intervention on the code.

The problem you report with your attached screenshot occurs when you insert a variable (factor) in Group Variable , if one or all of the variables you have in the list of Dependent Variables has a name that contains a character like "_" or "- ".

Rename your Dependent Variables, for example New_Test1 to NewTest1 and so on.
Let me know.

Cheers,
