I wonder if there is an option in the future to develop the missing data option for variables and include the option to input a value missing values (e.g. mode, mean, median - or even something more advanced)

Transform and Add missing variables
When I transform my data to add the missing mode the output just creates an additional level. In this case the data is ordinal with levels. See code below:

you might need to explain a bit more what you're trying to achieve ... it looks to me like jamovi is doing the right thing here (so i assume i'm missing something).
