Hello!
Hoping you can help us get to the bottom of an issue where - with the same data file - some students' density plots are appearing differently to others.
The shape of the plots is different, and the values on the X axis...
The expected plot is the one most people see - and the one that we've been seeing using this same data for several years previously. The unexpected one is what a few students are getting this year for the first time. We're pretty sure that people's versions of jamovi are the same...
We'd be grateful for your help!
Cheers,
Kate

hi,
can you provide a .omv file? (you can attach it here, but you might need to zip it up) i suspect that different versions is in play, as we did make a small change to how these densities are created recently. there's technically not a "correct" way to do these densities, but some ways are certainly better than others.

Hi Jonathon,
Thanks heaps for your reply. Sorry about this - from reports I'd thought that jamovi versions were the same, but I've just tested across versions like I should have done in the first place, and it seems this is indeed the issue - with the change between 2.6.24 and 2.6.25.
Thanks again and sorry for the hassle!
Cheers,
Kate
