Hey guys,
you created an awesome piece of software!
Is there a way, in which I could add a second order factor to my confirmatory factor analysis?
Best regards
Yann
Second-order factor Confirmatory Factor Analysis

ravi's away at the moment, and he takes care of the CFA. he should be back early next week.
sorry for the delay!

Re: Second-order factor Confirmatory Factor Analysis
Hi Yann,
Not at the moment. With the way we created the UI it's not very easy to allow for second order factors and still keep things clean and easy-to-use. I think it would be nicer if more complex CFA/SEM models would be implemented in a separate module, which we are eager to support.
Cheers,
Ravi

Hi
I get different results from CFAs in Jamovi when comparing with MPlus. Specifically, the degrees of freedom are different. Is it possible that Jamovi reports the number of free variables, and not degrees of freedom?

Hi,
jamovi relies on lavaan for its CFA, so it shows the exact same results as lavaan. Maybe both tests test something different?
