Good afternoon,
I am a student taking psychological stats this semester and have encountered an error that I cannot seem to get passed. Has anyone else encountered this or does anyone have any advice?
Thank you.
I am attempting to do a two-factor analysis of variance two-way ANOVA and when I try to run the Post Hoc test it gives me an error "logical subscript too long"
Logical Subscript too long error
Re: Logical Subscript too long error
assuming this is from the analyses that jamovi ships with (and not from a module).
i think there's something unusual about your data ... but jamovi is not providing a helpful error message here ... double check you're using a recent version of jamovi, as we do improve error reporting over time ... if that doesn't make it any clearer, attach a .omv file of the error (or email it through to contact <at> jamovi.org) and we'll take a look.

Re: Logical Subscript too long error
Thank you. I recently downloaded jamovi, but I will check for updates and go from there.
Re: Logical Subscript too long error
I believe I have it resolved now. I did need an update, but after trying to make several changes to what I was doing inside the app itself, I decided to manually type in the given data for the assignment rather than copy and paste as I had been doing (also, it is what is shown in the instruction for this module). Once I manually typed it in, and made some tweaks from there, I am not getting an error.
Thank you for the insight and assistance.

Re: Logical Subscript too long error
for the record, manually typing in the data shouldn't make a difference, but its hard to say without seeing the data.
glad you've got it working
