Repeated measures (MANOVA approach)

Post by AJB »

Are there any chances that the MANOVA approach to repeated measures analyses will be implemented in jamovi (as, for instance, in SPSS and jmp https://www.jmp.com/en_us/learning-libr ... anova.html) given that the currently implemented ANOVA approach makes assumptions that are routinely violated, see

O’Brien, R. G., & Kaiser, M. K. (1985). MANOVA method for analyzing repeated measures designs: An extensive primer. Psychological Bulletin, 97(2), 316-333. https://dx.doi.org/10.1037/0033-2909.97.2.316

I can give it a try, if you are willing to discuss the result critically.

That would be amazing - I'm not a mathematician but can compare it with some that I did in SPSS previously.
