File is not loading

After I download Jamovi and open it on my files it stays on the loading screen with "hang on while we get your apps information" and it never loads. Ive had it on that same screen since this morning. I have tried deleting and re-downloading it and still same thing. I followed my schools steps to downloading it and it does not work. Can someone help before I have to start doing assignments
