Hi,
Many, many thanks for Jamovi, just what I was looking for. Seems to work great on my work machine. When trying on my home iMac, I can't access the local file system, although I can open files and work on them fine, double-clicking, etc. Can you help? Thanks, Terry
Launching from the Terminal gives me the following:
/Applications/jamovi.app/Contents/MacOS/jamovi

Re: MacOS: Can't access/browse the local file system
Hi, nothing unusual, but when I click on the highlighted (blue) Browse button nothing happens. I've noticed that some .omv files I open seem to allow access to the file system, but not others. No access for new files.
Thanks for your help, Terry

Re: MacOS: Can't access/browse the local file system
hmm, this is quite unusual.
1. can you tell me what version of macOS this is?
2. are you able to open the examples?
3. if you click the blue bar along the top of the jamovi window, then press F10, it will bring up a developer window. there may be some error messages which will be of interest. (you *may* have to click on console in the developer window, i'm not sure.) if you could send through these error messages, that would be stirling.
with thanks

Re: MacOS: Can't access/browse the local file system
Hi, apologies for delay, just back on the machine.
1. MacOS 10.13.6
2. Examples open fine, thanks.
3. Okay, thanks, see attached.
Thanks for your help with this.
Incidentally, is there any way to get a version with the General Linear Models module pre-installed? I'd like to get Jamovi installed on our campus network student PCs, but it looks like there may be a permission issue with installing extra modules?
Best wishes, Terry

Re: MacOS: Can't access/browse the local file system
hi, i made some improvements to the error handling in the latest version (0.9.2.4), and this will hopefully provide some helpful error messages. at the very least, you should be able to open files using browse.
could you try out this version and let us know how you get on?
with thanks
