Linear Mixed Models and ML and GAMlj 1.6

Post by rheredia@tamiu.edu »

Hello,

I am trying to figure out an issue with jamovi. I am using jamovi 1.1.5 and GAMLj 1.60.
I am trying to run a linear mixed model using Maximum-likelihood and I get the following error:

object 'info.bic.not' found

I am assuming that it is trying to compute the BIC index?

Judging from some Youtube videos, it seems it used to work in GAMLj 1.5.0. It appears that the same issue is with windows. I wonder if it is a glitch?

Thank you so much for such a wonderful software,

Dear Marcello,

Thank you!! I will be doing the analysis of my next experiment on jamovi only. Looking forward to use the 2.0 version,

Kind regards!

Roberto

Hi,

I am using version 2.0 and I am too getting this object "info.bic" not found when trying to use regular ML, when using REML it's not coming up (however, then the model fit is singular).

DV = continuous (rating scale)
factor = categorial with 2 categories (yes, no)
covariate = continuous (physio. variable)
cluster = dyad
N = 50 dyads

Your help is greatly appreciated

Thank you

hi TMK,

the latest version is 2.0.5 ... can you see if the issue still persists in that version. you may need to update to the 1.2.x series of jamovi in order to use the 2.0.5

cheers
