Hi, I was running a proportions meta-analysis with MAJOR.
I restarted JAMOVI and the new version and new MAJOR package was installed. Prior to installing, I was able to run a moderator analysis with a categorical variable. Now, I only get an eternal spinning wheel.
What can I do to fix this issue? Thank you

Re: MAJOR categorical moderator
Hello,
I am also facing the same issue. I have been trying to run a categorical moderator analysis, but it seems that MAJOR only supports a continuous moderator. If you get the answer, could you please share it with me? Thank you!

Re: MAJOR categorical moderator
I just saw this discussion as I was having the same issue, then I remembered that the problem for me was that categorical moderators need to be coded as 0/1 in MAJOR. My variable was coded something like Purple/Turkey, and MAJOR just doesn't read variables like that. It's a bug that I'd love to see filled, but for now I just need to recode my variables in that way.
Not sure if this is the same issue you were having, but links are below:
