I'm running into errors with Box-Violin plots for either between- or within- subjects analyses. When I prescribe the grouping variable, the interface pauses as if it's running an analysis but then gives the following error: "This analysis has terminated, likely due to hitting a resource limit." See screenshot. I checked Developer Mode but nothing additional showed up.
Jamovi 1.6.23.0 on a Mac (BigSur), everything is up to date.
Help?

How many levels does the "Dilution" have?

Re: JJStatsPlot error on Mac
Dilution has 4 levels. The same happens if I use Treatment, which has 3 levels. There are 120 rows, fully balanced (10/combination of Dilution & Treatment).
Re: JJStatsPlot error on Mac
sorry, I am not sure why this happened. I am trying to update the module with recent package updates.

Re: JJStatsPlot error on Mac
Hello: I have similar problems on Mac (macOS 11.5.1 [Big Sur]), jamovi 2.0.0.0), trying to get Violin Plots to Compare Between Groups with jjStatsPlot. When I put a continuous variable into Dependent Variable list and a categorical variable into the Grouping Variable field, I get the error
object 'specify_decimal_p' is not exported by 'namespace:ipmisc'
When I put the categorical variable instead into the Split By field, I don't get an error but I still don't get a plot, the output is nothing.

Re: JJStatsPlot error on Mac
Hi,
I have realized that there are some changes in the dependent packages.
and most importantly ggstatsplot has been throughly renewed by the package author.
I will update the module as soon as there is an update in core jamovi packages.
Sorry, but it will take some time.
