hi,
what version is this? double check you're running the latest version.
when you select 'export', the following appears, shows you were the file is going to be saved, and lets you choose where to save the file:

hmm, we've not seen this error before. could you try running in debug mode (you'll find debug mode in the windows start menu), and some diagnostic error messages should appear at the console.Save failed

Re: Jamovi 1.8.4.0. Error: Unable start device 'svg' (Resolv
Hi,
I am experiencing the same problem. I upgraded to 1.6.23 version some time ago and since then, I have been experiencing several problems.
First, I cannot save graphs in .png or .svg form. When I want to save a figure in .png in a certain folder, I press "save" or "export" but the file does not appear in the folder. When I want to save a figure in .svg, an error occurs (see attached). Only pdf runs ok (but then I have to convert it to png...)
Second, when my laptop goes to sleep mode or I lose internet connection, JAMOVI stops and I am forced to close the program. Fortunately, I have an option to save the work, but anyway... it's a bit... weird
I used debugging but didn't help...
please, please... help me.

Hello,
thanks for a quick answer. Unfortunately, the problem with exporting pictures persists...

Re: Jamovi 1.8.4.0. Error: Unable start device 'svg' (Resolv
could you try running jamovi at the console (you'll find 'jamovi debug' under the windows start menu). start jamovi with the command:
jamovi --debug
and it should produce about 4 black windows. error text should appear in one of these four windows when you try and export. i'd be interested in what that error text says.
cheers

Re: Jamovi 1.8.4.0. Error: Unable start device 'svg' (Resolved!)
Sorry to bother but I'm still unable to export images in any format with jamovi (2.3.24, 2.4.11)
I attatched the information provided by the debug version.
Hope this helps,
thanks
Diego
